Thomas Callahan, D.V.M.
Dr. Callahan graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 1984. Dr. Callahan has practiced small animal veterinary medicine in the Tampa Bay area for nearly 30 years. His main areas of interest are: preventive health care for your pet so that your pet lives a long, healthy and happy life, internal medicine, dentistry and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Callahan attends the Central Florida Academy of Veterinary Medicine to keep current on the latest in veterinary medicine and care.
Dr. Callahan is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and Pinellas County Veterinary Medical Association
Dr. Callahan grew up in the Tampa Bay area and attended Jesuit High School. Dr. Callahan attended the University of Notre Dame and Berry College in Rome, Georgia for his Bachelor’s Degree. He is a Florida Gator fan as well as a fan of the local pro sports teams: Go Lightning! Go Rays! Go Bucs! Dr. Callahan likes to wet a hook and even occasionally catches a fish. He is owned by a wire haired Dachshund named Thatcher.
